At the moment the cupboards are fuller than they've been for a while, this is due to the almost non-stop processing that has been going on over the last month or so. The final picks of red tomatoes were added to a couple of tins of tomatoes and lots of onions to make these jars of Tomato and Veg sauce.
I decided the label had to include the word 'veg' as I raided the bottom drawer of the fridge for all sorts of bits and bobs of vegetables. Some radish, some courgette, some chard stems and a couple of peppers were all chopped up and added to the simmering tomatoes and onions.
You might have noticed one label is on the jar upside down, this was done so I would remember to use this jar first along with the one that isn't full to the top or labelled, as the lid didn't 'pop' when the hot sauce in the hot jars cooled down, meaning a good vacuum hadn't been made. The button did stay in once I touched it, but I prefer to err on the side of caution with foods that I intend to keep for a while.
