Money left in Housekeeping Fund - £55.11

I needed some more sparkling water so I called into Tesco, and decided to buy some bananas ... something we will never, ever be  able to grow ourselves and picked up a pack of reduced price apples that I spotted as I walked through the store, which is something that we do grow ourselves, and indeed our trees are ladened with them at the moment but none are ready to eat just yet.

Although Mavis does now have a 'pet' apple, sometimes during our doggie walks I throw the windfalls for Rosy to 'fetch' and threw one the other day for Mavis so she wouldn't feel left out.  She doesn't actually understand 'fetch' but she thought that as she went and got the apple it was now hers .... it has been going to bed with her every night for the last few days ;-)

Not a bad little spend apples, bananas and ten bottles of sparkling water for £2.85.

I have no more Tesco coupons of course so it was all cash.

  3. Jets not allowed to play with balls at the moment, so the windfalls are the closest thing he has had to a green spherical object! He eats them though :(
